The Saints work miracles

Christina exhibits in Paris: 30 sales in a week

For the launch of her second exhibition in Paris, artist Christina Oiticica, who is Mrs. Paulo Coelho, wore a cape by the Italian designers Escada, embroidered with the names of saints and, right in the middle, that of her husband-writer, who is highly acclaimed in France. Isn't she afraid people will get the wrong end of the stick? "I always say, a famous husband is like a knife. You can use it to kill someone or to cut bread and provide food." In this case, the relationship would have filled a bakery: in one week, she sold thirty works.
