Christina Oiticica: "Birth of Venus"
revisited 
The painting "Birth of Venus", by the Italian Botticelli, is the main
clue in the exhibition "House of Time", with work by artist Christina
Oiticica, on show at the Museu Histórico Nacional (National History Museum).
After being shown in Paris, the show comes to Rio with 6 paintings, 14 objects
and 16 installations revolving around the signs presented in the painting by the
Italian artist, such as the representation of life, fecundity and he feminine
universe. The presentation of the works created by Christina, follows a mood of
meditation, with a more intimate illumination.
